The Blackberry 8820 is an evolution of the 8800 Prosumer model. The main difference is the inclusion of Wi-Fi to enable wireless connection to hotspots whilst out and about.
The BlackBerry 8820's high quality colour large screen is perfect for viewing pictures and web pages and is also light sensitive, allowing for the handset to adjust itself to bright or dark conditions. Due to the large screen you will be able to read documents in the same way as on a PDA.
The BlackBerry 8820 also has GPS and comes with BlackBerry Maps, giving you satellite navigation on the move. This is particularly handy for navigation in your car or by foot.
As the Blackberry 8820 is a smart phone you will get support for reading Microsoft Documents such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint files and also supports Adobe PDF.
The BlackBerry 8820 has many additional features such as expandable memory, Bluetooth 2.0, GPRS and USB.
