Apple iPhone-16GB
The Apple iPhone-16GB is the largest capacity model of the first run of Apple’s infamous iPhone. When it was released, the Apple iPhone-16GB was one of a kind, featuring a touch screen and a touch screen alone. It had no keys. It lacked support for a stylus. You had to do everything with your fingers. Truly a groundbreaking device. However, despite the incredible style, the amazing ease of use, and the loads of high tech features, the Apple iPhone-16GB still has a few drawbacks.
The Apple iPhone-16GB is a quad band GSM phone which can be used anywhere in the world simply by swapping out the SIM card. Unfortunately, the Apple iPhone-16GB lacks 3G support, so data transfer is limited to the slow GPRS/EDGE network.
Measuring in at approximately four and a half inches by two and a half inches by a half an inch, the Apple iPhone-16GB is a pretty hefty phone, though it can still fit in your pocket without much difficulty. At a weight of 135 grams, it is quite heavy too.
Battery life on the Apple iPhone-16GB is rather impressive considering that this device is like a miniature Apple laptop in terms of features and functionality. Expect to get about eight hours of talk time or 250 hours of standby time on a single charge. However, you will burn through that battery much faster considering that you can also use the Apple iPhone-16GB to browse the web, listen to music, watch videos, and much more.
The Apple iPhone-16GB features a best in class touch screen at the front of the device. It is 3.5 inches in size, capable of displaying 320 by 480 pixels and supports 16 million colors. It also supports a multi-touch interface where you can use more than one of your fingers simultaneously to control the phone, dial numbers, browse photos, select songs, and type emails or text messages.
At the rear of the phone is a 2.0 megapixel camera. It’s unfortunate that such a low quality camera was added, though there are additional programs you can download to make full use of the camera’s functionality.
