MotorolaRIZR Z3 Review

MotorolaRIZR Z3 Review

The Motorola RIZR Z3 is one of the best high end phones that Motorola has ever come out with. This phone is inspired by the RAZR, but instead of a clamshell design, sports one of the finest working slide designs I have seen. I am usually concerned with the quality of the slide, because some phones have a shaky slide, while others are too tight and impractical. This phone slid very nicely with no issues.

The Motorola RIZR Z3 is full loaded with many high end features. The Motorola RIZR Z3 is quality built, has a nice style and is a pleasure to touch. The Motorola RIZR Z3 has an MP3 player on board, boasts a 2.0 mega pixel camera, stereo Bluetooth and a slot to add additional memory, in this case a Micro SD Card.

The display was excellent, bright enough and very rich in color. I was able to see it in bright light conditions. The keypad does take a little effort to get use to. If you touch text on your keypad, you will notice a little more effort is required to depress the keys. User interface is excellent and navigation is a breeze. There are many features and I still find a few new ones each week. The Mp3 is one of the better ones on the market and works efficiently enough to make this phone your primary portable music player (especially with the memory slot). Bluetooth worked fine, I had no problems synching.

I was impressed with the digital camera. Not only does it take excellent images, but they can be as high as 2.0 mega pixels, enough to ditch your everyday digital camera for. Some of the things I was less impressed with were with the speakerphone; it just wasn't loud or clear enough. The price is still very high and I am not sure if it is just my phone, but the clock is not visible on the display screen.
