Motorola V950 Review

Motorola V950 Review

The Motorola V950 continues the iDEN line forward. It has great performance matched with the best of features. It supports the EVDO Release A and HPPTT. The Motorola V950 has a sleek, thin design, but does not lack in the display area. It sports a large display and full mil-spec water sealing. It also comes with aGPS/SGPS, a 2 megapixel camera, and expandable memory.

The Motorola V950 is a RAZR phone and a very durable one at that. It is also a Nextel Direct Connect phone, which provides walkie-talkie features. It has large rubbery buttons with a very sturdy, rugged case. Its dimensions are 4.08” by 2.11” by .65” and it weighs in at 4.2 ounces.

Motorola V950 also has a microSD memory car slot and supports Bluetooth. It also features SMS voice messaging. It has external touch-sensitive controls for music. The 2 MP camera allows for video recording and also sports an LED flash. It has brightness and white balance controls and a self-timer. While drastically rugged, it supports both the Sprint Music Store and Spring TV, allowing the multimedia center to go wherever the owner does.

Pros
Large QVCA main display
Stereo Bluetooth
GPS navigation
Cons
A bit large - the typical RAZR size was traded for durability
The rubbery buttons can sometimes be difficult to use
Overall
The Motorola V950 is a great performance phone that is as tough as nails. Yet don’t get confused by its rugged appearance, because it is a luxury phone on the inside. It provides all the amenities Motorola fans have come to know and love. It provides all the features one could ask for, yet eases one’s mind because of its sturdiness. For the on the go person, the Motorola V950 is the phone for you.
