Motorola RIZR Z8 Review

 Motorola RIZR Z8 Review

Unfortunately for a phone that has so much going for it, there are a couple of problems. The first is not a just a problem with the Motorola RIZR Z8, but is inherent in all slider phones. Because there is no protective casing to cover the display or the buttons, accidental button pressing and display scratching can be a real problem for many people. Also, Motorola opted to use the Symbian operating system on the Motorola RIZR Z8 , a choice that may affect the stability, speed and usability of the phone as whole.

Pros
Cutting edge design
All of the common features expected in a high end Motorola phone
Works seamlessly with 3G networks
Beautiful QVGA display
Impressive battery life (5 hours voice, 16 days standby)
Cons
Slider design can lead to accidental button presses and one scratched screen
Uses Symbian operating system
Not yet available from any American carriers
Overall
Aside from the price (which is sure to be expensive when it is released in America), there is really no reason not to purchase the Motorola RIZR Z8 if you are looking for something with style and substance. It has an amazing array of features and a cutting edge design that make it one of the top phones by which all other phones should be judged.
