Motorola Hollywood / E815 Review
Call management features is the phonebook with the capacity to save up to 1000 names and numbers inclusive with the e-mail addresses but the problem starts when the numbers and e-mail address are recorded as two separate entries but this can be rectified. Messaging options on the other hand is SMS, Multimedia messaging and picture messaging. Other personal features are the calculator, alarm clock, wireless web browser, voice memos and commands, a calendar with monthly and weekly planning, a slot for the TransFlash card and Bluetooth for excellent connectivity.
As for the entertainment aspect the Motorola Hollywood/E815 with its V-cast player allows users to download games such as Evel Knievel 3 and also 3 dimensional games like 3D Swerve Basketball although the phone does come with two games; S.W.A.T and Swerve Basketball. If you get bored with the games the V-cast player also provides access to video clips ranging from news to movies. Customization features in the phone allows users to change wallpapers on the screen based on their own choices and you can opt to change the menu color scheme with the three available colors; Scarlet, Techno or Moto and the 10 polyphonic ringtones that can be used to identify specific callers just make this phone irresistible.
The Motorola Hollywood / E815 with its dual band (CDMA900/1900; 1x EV-DO) is capable of obtaining a strong signal and therefore is able to deliver solid call quality. The retail price ranges from $100.00 to $200.00 depending on the merchant and the service you subscribe too but all in all the price is quite reasonable for those who want to invest on a phone that has wireless connection and jam packed with high tech features.
