LG Venus Review

 LG Venus Review

Sometimes referred to as the older sibling of the LG Chocolate 8550 series, the LG Venus has several interesting features that help to set it apart from the pack. The phone is relatively lightweight, and has the familiar form slide construction. One of the things that make the Venus a little different is the use of a small touch screen rather than some other method of navigation. For people that hate wheels, this screen is a huge plus.

The camera on the  LG Venus  is another draw. With a solid two-megapixel configuration, the camera is easy to use and turns out excellent results. The color resolution is at the upper end of what you can get with a phone, which also helps make the images clear and crisp. When it comes to talk time, the LG Venus will provide around four hours between charges, and has a respectable standby life of twenty days.

Pros
The touch screen makes using the menu a lot easier
Audio quality on the calls is excellent
The user can make and receive calls without opening the slider, by using the contact file
Cons
There is no ridge in the design to open the slider, which can sometimes make opening the Venus a two-hand job
No one touch locking capability, although the feature can be reached through the menu
With a touch screen, the phone collects fingerprints a lot easier than some models
Final Words
Including most of the standard features, the LG Venus is a great phone for personal use, and especially for people who like to use their phone for taking impromptu pictures.
