LG VX8300 Review

Users will have to open the front flap to view the internal display that measures at 2.25 inches, which is simply great for viewing photos, video clips and playing games as it comes with the support of 262,000 colors. The images and graphics are spectacular and color saturated ensuring users are well entertained. Both the internal and external display provides users with the option to change the backlighting time according to their own preferences.

Below the internal display are the navigation keys that are essential for the smooth operation of the  LG VX8300 . The navigation array seem to be standard, as usual the OK button is in the center that opens up to the main menu, followed by a five way toggle that poses as a shortcut to four user defined features. The two soft keys, a Clear key, a Talk key and a Power/End key surround the five way toggle. Points to be noted is that the OK button can open up to the main menu even if the phone is on standby mode, there is a dedicated speakerphone key just below the navigation array and the navigation keys are sufficiently large and slightly raised from the surface making it comfortable to press and navigate. Same thing goes for the keypads as the buttons are well designed, large slightly raised making it convenient fro calling and messaging. The fact that it has a bright backlight is helpful when dialing during the night or in the dark.

Basic features that the  LG VX8300 has to offer is a 500 contact phone book that permits 5 names and two e-mail addresses to be included during each entry. Contacts can be organized by grouping the Caller-ID into specific groups, pairing the contacts with picture ID and lastly by assigning ring tones to specific callers from the 11 polyphonic and 4 message ring tones that are available with the phone. Customization features is the option to chance wall papers, clock format and the display themes.
