LG PM 225 Review

LG PM 225 Review

Some of the phones general features are a camera, a polyphonic ringer and a phone book capacity of over 200 names. It also has an alarm, a calculator and a calendar. The camera resolution is VGA 640x480 and has a 2x zoom. There are also custom graphic and custom ring tones.

For those with hearing difficulty, the PM-225 is fitted with TTY/TDD technology. This enables the information to be fed to the phone digitally. Even those with profound hearing loss can access many of the advantages of a cell phone. The phone is also hearing aid compatible.

For those who do a large amount of traveling or commuting, the LG PM 225 has GPS satellite navigation. If you are traveling into uncharted territory then this will help you get to where you need. You can locate the place and get step by step instructions for traveling. The phone is compatible in languages other than English and has the multiple numbers per name feature.

For those that like to text, there is the predictive text entry feature. This means that theLG PM 225is aware of the letter combinations of the English language. It will automatically correct errors. If your texting in a hurry but still need to be accurate this is a great feature to have. It is also equipped with a dictionary of over 35,000 English words. If you're unsure of the spelling it will not be.

The phone has 32 different ring tones, which is less than other LG clamshell phones. It does have ringer and photo caller ID. There is also an excellent speaker phone, voice dialing, vibrate alert and voice recording.

The phone is capable of wireless Internet connection and supports Java. This is nice if you want to download a selection of games. The phone does offer a lot for the price. Loyal users state many good points and a few negatives. Some of the good points are the camera resolution Design and ease of use. The negatives are no Bluetooth capability and sometimes poor sound quality. The phone does however rate quite favorable on many of the key aspects such as battery life and display. The LG PM-225 is a good choice in a phone for those who lean toward the practical side. It is good for communication but is quite simple. It lacks many of the fun features such as an Mp3 player but does have a few games and a camera.

The more business minded of users will appreciate the Internet capability, and email however will probably feel slightly disappointed with the lack of Bluetooth capability. However, the LG PM 225 is offered at an attractive price and does offer quite a lot for what one pays.
