LG PM 225 Review

LG PM 225 Review

The LG PM 225 is another of LG's clamshell design flip phone. This design has proven quite popular with loyal LG users which is no doubt one of the reason's LG has decided to use this design time and time again. The phone itself folds nicely into a very comfortable and compact shape. The edges and corners are nicely rounded and tapered. This makes gripping and holding the phone easy and comfortable especially for those extra long chats with friends or business calls. The corners and edges will not cut the skin which has been a frequent complaint from users of RAZR and thin sleek phones.

The general features of the LG PM 225 are and internal antennae, a 2.5 mm headphone jack and a light comfortable weight of 95 g. this makes it much lighter that many of the newer model of phones, making storage in pockets easy and comfortable. The phone folds away and is easily stored in purses and cases as well. The phone also has easy to use side keys to help you navigate through the many menu choices that you will have available to you.

The talk time on the phone compares quite nicely to most new models of phones. It offers 3.5 hours of continual talk time and 6.3 days of standby time. The phones come with a Lithium Ion battery already installed.

LG decided to put a second display on the PM-225. A frequent complaint that they had from many loyal phone users was that with the clamshell design, only the internal screen meant that you always had to open your phone to see who was calling. This posed some convenience as well as security issues. The second display is located on the front of the phone. It offers 65,000 colors and a screen size of 96x64 pixels. The internal display on the phone is also excellent. It as well has over 65,000 colors, LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) and a resolution of 128x160 pixels. It is also equipped with STN technology.
