LG KE970 Shine Review

LG KE970 Shine Review

The LG KE970 Shine is the next stylish and sexy phone from LG. Just like the Chocolate was extremely fashionable, many predict the LG KE970 Shine to be a fashion plate as well. Instead of being dark and mysterious, the LG KE970 Shine is extremely bright. The casing of this slider phone is bright metallic and the screen can become a sharp, extremely reflective mirror.

The LG KE970 Shine, while stunning to look at does have quite a few great features including a 2 mega pixel camera, stereo music player, a great looking display, email capability, tri band, USB and a memory slot for Micro SD cards (up to 2 GB).

The 2 mega pixel camera is extremely high quality and includes a Schneider- Kreuznach lens. The camera also takes great video as well. The display screen is extremely bright and can be viewed in very light environments; however the mirror effect doesn't work well in these situations. For those looking to get rid of their stand alone MP3 player, the LG KE970 Shine delivers a stereo music player that supports the following digital formats; MP3, AAC, AAC+ and AAC++ .

Besides these great features, using the phone is usually very easy; however the included roller which is just below the screen can be difficult to navigate. Those that are annoyed by the Chocolate's roller will experience the same frustration with the Shine.

Battery life is quite good, except if you use the music player or digital camera very frequently. However, for normal use, the phone will remain full of life for days. Reception was a little spotty at times, but adequate. However, I was expecting better. The speakerphone worked well and the phones traditional functions were very intuitive.

Pros
The LG KE970 Shine is a remarkably stylish and fashionable phone. For those looking for attention, this phone delivers
Mirror effect is mesmerizing
High quality display screen
Slider design is well engineered
Music player is good enough to replace your Ipod
High quality 2 mega pixel camera
Speakerphone sounded great even at a high volume
Slot for Micro SD memory card (up to 2 GB)
Cons
Nothing that is considered a deal breaker, but the roller is difficult to use
Ringtone volume is low
Metallic casing is a finger print magnet
Overall
A great looking phone that includes all the features and functionality one would expect from such a stylish, modern phone- LG KE970 .
