Although there were initial concerns expressed by former users about this feature the current verdict is that the buttons are very tactile and easy to use. The navigation control is fairly large and can be operated easily by someone with larger hands. There are a few shortcuts built into the phone, 2 soft buttons and clearly marked, stand by and on and off buttons. Some users did say that the keypad was harder to operate than normal. Being that it is flush with the phone, dialing and texting by feel was slightly difficult. They are also quite small. However, to aid this the back lighting feature has been installed. According to the users it did help quite a bit.

The other features of this phone are definitely worth a mention.  the LG Fusic LX550  has a phonebook capable of holding 500 contact names. Each name can have up to 5 numbers with it. The voice recorder and world clock are also added extras that have proven quite popular with users.
