LG Fusic LX550 Review

LG Fusic LX550 Review

The LG Fusic LX550 stands out from many of LG's phones. For this model, LG has abandoned the rounded and tapered edges for a thin phone with very defined sides and corners. This phone is very thin, very small and some have actually mistaken it for an ipod. In fact when places side by side against a large packet of Wrigley's Doublemint gum this phone is only larger by a matter of millimeters. However, Great things can some in small packages. Despite its size the LG Fusic LX550 has some fantastic features. The sound quality of this phone has been rated excellent and it contains its own FM transmitter. Despite the size, this is a lot of phone for the money.

It is believed that LG got it's inspiration for this phone from an Ipod. Despite criticism and skepticism about these ultra small phones, it seems that LG has made this one work. Despite it's thinness,  the LG Fusic LX550 does not create many of the problems associated with the thin, so called razr phones. It is slightly larger than those and the corners are slightly smoother. This allows for maximum comfort when holding. Long phone conversations need not be painful and cause injury. This phone is quite easy on the hands. It is also very pocket friendly. Yes the corners are more defined than other LG Brand phones but less so than RAZR models. It fits nicely into most pockets and can remain there without causing damage. It also allows for easy storage in pursues and cases.

The size of  the LG Fusic LX550  can be quite deceptive. Don't think for a minute that this phone isn't up to the challenges of daily life. It is quite strong and durable and can easily stand up to the bumps and knocks of daily use. It also opens and closes with ease but also authority. The ipod influence is abundantly clear with the phones changeable faceplates. They are available in pink, Green and black.

The LG Fusic LX550 has excellent display features. It supports 65,000 colors and users claim that it is one of the better screens seen on a cell phone. Unfortunately the backlighting cannot be changed but the wallpaper can. There is photo ID for callers and a small light that blinks while you're talking, indicating an incoming call. This feature also works when the phone is on standby.
