HTC X7500 Review

HTC X7500 Review

Every so often, a phone comes around that is truly a masterpiece when it comes to technological advancements. These devices may not be the most attractive cell phones on the market, but they certainly are cool to play around with. HTC, innovator of many a technology, has such a phone – the HTC X7500. It is truly spectacular what this phone can do in such a small package and if you are looking for a device that can practically replace a laptop – you've found it.

The HTC X7500 is a quad band GSM phone so it can be used anywhere in the world by simply switching the SIM card whenever you travel. Furthermore, it offers 3G support, and, unlike most other cell phone manufacturers, you can access the 3G networks anywhere in the world thanks to the tri band UMTS support. Business travelers who have to venture around the world, this may be the perfect phone for you.

Now, it should be said that the HTC X7500 is not exactly small or light. The phone measures in at approximately five inches by four inches by half an inch in size and weighs a massive 355 grams. This is not a phone you want to have in your pocket all day long. Inside of a briefcase, a purse, or a suit jacket pocket – yes. Pants pocket – no.

However, that huge size and weight also means that there is plenty of room for a battery, and HTC delivers. The HTC X7500 features a battery life that is unrivaled in such a high-end device – six hours of talk time and three hundred hours of standby time on a full charge. Amazing.
