HTC Touch Cruise Review

The HTC Touch Cruise is a PDA phone customized to be user-friendly. This phone has a sophisticated appeal because of its black gloss finish. It also feels just right in the hands because of the soft granular touch of the casing.

Its new TouchFLO interface is has redefined the meaning of multi-tasking. You can simultaneously send an email or SMS, access the Internet, and listen to music without difficulty. This phone literally lets you browse through its feature-packed services with relative ease!

It has a full 2.8-inch touch screen that gives you a superb display of the current time and weather. It uses a quick launcher feature that opens up applications in a blink of an eye. It also has a ringtone setting where users can adjust the alerts and the phone sounds using a one-touch feature. The HTC Touch Cruise also boasts of its 3D Touch Cube that makes navigation through the phone features very easy.

One of the main features of the HTC Touch Cruise is its GPS feature. Locating restaurants, auto services and gasoline stations will be a breeze. You will be able to avoid traffic jams by using detours shown on the GPS map. You will be able to save on expensive gas by finding the shortest route possible to your destination.

Another notable feature is its wide connectivity. It comes with quad-band GSM and tri-band UMTS. You can use the phone almost anywhere. It also has wireless technologies, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, common to PDAs. It is also enabled for HSDPA at an ideal bandwidth speed of 3.6 Mbps.

Other features of this phone include FM radio, a 3-megapixel camera with auto-focus, MP3 and video playback support.

Pros
The phone is provided with a good bundle of a car kit, a 1 Gb microSD memory card, and a free GPS map.
It has a relatively smaller size and weight as compared to other PDAs.
Exceptional battery life of up to 3 days
A new and improved version of the TouchFLO is installed.

Cons
The phone is not as pretty as its predecessors, HTC Touch and HTC Touch Dial.
FM reception is acceptable but not high quality.
Its text input method is a little sluggish and needs tweaking.

The HTC Touch Cruise is a sleek, elegant and stylish PDA phone that promises ultimate multimedia experience at your fingertips. Because of its plus features, this phone is surely worth the money.
