HTC Tornado/SDA Review

HTC Tornado/SDA Review

The HTC Tornado/SDA cell phone is one of the latest in the HTC line of bar design phones. The phone has a very attractive design with nicely rounded edges and corners. This makes holding the phone very comfortable for those long phone conversations. Many users complain that long sleek phones with defines edges and corners put stress on and even cut the skin at times. This design will surely not do that.

The physical characteristics of the phone are excellent. It has an internal antenna which helps with storage in both pockets and cases. The phone has a 2.5 mm headset jack on the side of the phone and a set of side keys that will enable you to navigate your way through the many menu choices. The weight of the phone is 3.74 ounces, making it vary light and comfortable to carry on you.

The Phone packs a reasonable amount of power with its lithium Ion battery. It offers 4.00 hours of talk time and 6 days of standby time. The display features on the phone are also worth mentioning. It offers over 65,000 colors and a resolution of 240x320 pixels. IT is complete with TFT technology and boasts the best in liquid crystal display.

The general specs on the phone are, a camera a phonebook with a shared memory capability and the GSM 1900 1800 900 and 850 technology. There is also an alarm, a calculator and a calendar. Those that travel a lot will love the fact that this phone is Bluetooth capable. This allows the user to go completely hands free. Being hands free means that you can drive, or do other things while, taking and making phone calls and emails. Your concentration will not be compromised and you will not be putting others at risk.

Those that have hearing problems will appreciate the TTY/TDD technology, available on this phone. This transfers all of the information on the phone to a digital format. Now those even with a profound hearing loss can reap the benefits of having a cell phone.
