Blackberry's 8800 review

 Blackberry's 8800 review

Blackberry 8800 reviews :A smart, stylish, and sophisticated smart phone, the Blackberry 8800 packs its sleek design with enough features to make all of your coworkers jealous. Unfortunately it lacks one distinct feature that a lot of its competition comes equipped with - a camera. However, it more than makes up for this shortcoming by offering a plethora of other goodies that will make any corporate employee light up with joy. It even has a full QWERTY style keyboard, so that you can send text messages and emails as quickly as if you were to use a full sized laptop computer.

The Blackberry 8800 is a bar style GSM smart phone available in branded version from AT&T (formerly Cingular). Its most basic features include the full QWERTY keyboard mentioned earlier for easy typing, internal GPS, a built in media player for movies and music, trackball navigation, GPRS and EDGE networking, up to five hours of talk time, and a standby time of twenty four days. All of these features are packed into an impressively lightweight body that weighs less than five ounces in total. And because the Blackberry 8800 is based on GSM technology, it can be used almost anywhere in the world with just a simple switch of the SIM card.

The viewable screen, while not the most impressive in the business, is capable of delivering up to 65 thousand colors at once and features an adjustable brightness level for use in all lighting conditions. The built in 64 megabytes of memory can even be expanded by up to 2 gigabytes via an additional MicroSD card. Bluetooth connectivity via Bluetooth 2.0 comes standard, so it is a snap to interface your smart phone with just about any modern laptop computer that has its own Bluetooth connection built in. But even if you don't have a Bluetooth capable computer hand, you can use the included USB cable to connect the Blackberry 8800 directly to your computer in seconds.
