A Review About BlackBerry Curve 8300 When it comes to choosing a smart phone, there may come a time when you are totally overwhelmed by all of the features that some of these devices provide. While a lot of the features built in to phones like BlackBerries and Palms are fantastic, many of us will never use a lot of them. For this reason, BlackBerry decided that it was high time to bring a brand new type of smart phone to the market - one that had features that just about anyone could find useful, while still offering many of the capabilities that corporate employees would use every day. Hence the BlackBerry Curve 8300 was born.
The BlackBerry Curve 8300 represents a departure from the smart phones that try to pack in feature after feature. Now, this is not to say that the BlackBerry Curve 8300 is featureless. After all, the BlackBerry Curve 8300 has far more features than most phones out there - it is just not over the top like some of the other smart phones are these days.
As far as form factor is concerned, the BlackBerry Curve 8300 is relatively small in size. Measuring in at only a bit larger than even a RAZR, the BlackBerry Curve 8300 can fit in your hand nicely, giving you a great platform to get a lot of work done. The huge screen (at 320 by 240 pixels and 65 thousand colors) is easy to read and perfect for a lot of textual work that is usually associated with a modern day smart phone. Unfortunately, despite its large size, the BlackBerry Curve 8300 only allows for four hours of talk time, although it does have a huge amount of standby time at over 400 hours.
Running the BlackBerry OS, the BlackBerry Curve 8300 is suited for all kinds of situations. It can transfer data via Bluetooth to and from a computer and it has a built in media player with expandable memory slot via MicroSD. This media player gives the BlackBerry Curve 8300 a unique functionality, allowing the corporate professional the ability to get work done and listen to music without having to haul around several different devices.
