Audiovox PPC 5050 Falcon
The bar style Audiovox PPC 5050 Falcon is one of the hottest cell phones on the market. This is the first 1×EVDO phone available for North America, making a hot item for 2003. It sports a large touch screen and 400MHz processor to handle all of the features this phone has to offer. There is a 64MB memory, which is complimented by a memory slot.
This small phone weighs a petite 6.2 ounces, and is 5.1 inches by 2.09 inches by .7 inches in size. This makes it a small but powerful phone. With a stub antenna, it gets great reception, which allows it to connect and stay connected to the Internet with ease. With Windows Mobile Professional, the phone is easy to manage and easy to use, even for those who lack the experiences of other cell phones.
This phone also has GPS features, which means one never has to be lost again, unless they want to be. This makes it a safe phone to have around when traveling. With features such as note taking and voice recording, as well as a whole array of contact methods, this small phone could even take the place of a PDA. There are calendars, notes, multiple contact information, and voice memo capabilities.
All of these features mean nothing if it does not connect to other people as a phone should do. Luckily, this phone has no problem doing that. Being part of the Verizon network, this phone has plenty of ability to connect to other phones both in and out of the network. This phone also has a strong ability to connect to the Internet through Verizon's Internet features. This phone also has the ability to have customizable ring tones and face plates. Owning this phone does not mean that one ever has to be bored again.
On top of the Internet capabilities to keep one interested in the phone, this phone also has a built in MP3 player. This means that one can download MP3s and store them either on the 64 MB flash memory in the phone or on the additional memory stick. To store the music on the memory stick means that more songs can be stored and accessed by switching the sticks.
