Nokia Tube Launching October 2nd
Nokia is set to unveil the “Tube” ,its first mass market touchscreen device, at an October 2nd event in London. The launch will be integrated into Nokia’s launch of its “Comes With Music” service, and will likely fall under the “XpressMusic” sub-brand as the Nokia 5800.
In July, Nokia hited at a mid-range touchscreen device that would be competitively featured and poitioned,citing a low price point that would make the device more attractive to users.
Sporting the S60 Touch OS, the Tube will feature things the iPhone has left out- such as direct video and photo uploading and full java support. No pricing information has been provided, nor has information regarding which US carrier will offer it, if any.
